What is KasMail?
KasMail provides free disposable email addresses to help you prevent spam from cuttering your mailbox.
How can I use KasMail?
First, you need to create a KasMail account. Then, you can create and use KasMail disposable email addresses whenever someone asks for your email address, for example when you fill out forms on the internet or post messages on a bulletin board. Use one address for every site or person requesting your email. When you don't need the address anymore, or if you start receiving spam, simply delete the address.
Can I easily generate KasMail addresses?
Yes. KasMail provides a script in the form of a button you can add to your bookmark bar with a simple drag and drop. Simply click on the button whenever you need an address, and one will be generated for you.
What is a disposable email address?
A disposable email address is a temporary address. It will be used for a specific purpose and a specific duration. Messages sent to your active KasMail addresses are automatically forwarded to your real mailbox.
How many disposable email addresses may I create?
You may have up to 25 KasMail addresses at any given time.
I already receive a lot of spam in my mailbox, can KasMail help me?
KasMail cannot prevent the spam you are already receiving, since a spammer must have your email address. However, KasMail can prevent other spammers from obtaining your address and sending you even more spam. However, we advise you to change your email address and "start fresh". If you use KasMail from the beginning, you can be certain that spammers won't get your address. If you are a corporation, you may also purchase KasWorks, our anti-spam gateway, which filters 99% of the spam.
How can I sign in?
To sign in, you need to create a KasMail account, and make sure you activate it after receiving the confirmation email from KasMail. Once your account has been activated, you can sign in using your real email address as your KasMail login. Your browser must accept cookies to register and use KasMail.

How can I retrieve my lost login?
Your KasMail login is your real email address, i.e. the email address you used to register with KasMail.
How can I register?
Anyone can open a free KasMail account. There are several steps: first, a form asks you for your information, then a page asks you to confirm the information, finally you see a message congratulating you and informing you that you will shortly receive an email to activate your account. You must activate your account before you can sign in. Your browser must accept cookies to register and sign in.
Must I provide my real email address when I register with KasMail?
Yes. KasMail forwards the messages sent to your active disposable email addresses to the address you used to register. If you do not provide the correct email address, you won't be able receive your messages.
I did not receive the activation email, what should I do?
Check that it is not in your spam folder, and that your mailbox is not full, then contact us.
My main email address has changed, can I keep the same KasMail account?
Contact us and provide your old email address (current KasMail login), new email address, and the answer to your hint question.
May I use KasMail to send messages?
No. KasMail can only be used to receive messages. You may however configure your email software to make it look like your address is a KasMail address. Simply modify the From and Reply-to settings.
May I turn an auto-expire address into one that never expires?
R: No. An email address created to expire at a set date cannot be turned into one that never expires. Therefore, you should be cautious when you choose the duration of an address during creation.
How can I extend, lock or expire a disposable address?
KasMail provides tools on the My Emails page. You will see the list of all your addresses, and a pull-down menu with possible actions on each address.
What does locking an address mean?
Locking a disposable email address means that you do not wish to receive the messages sent to that address, but want to keep the address. Logs of the messages sent to a locked address are available in the events log. However, you won't be able to see the messages themselves. A locked address will still expire when it is supposed to. To unlock a locked email address, use the tool on the My Emails page.
May I modify the comment for one of my addresses?
Yes. Simply go to the My Emails page and click on the comment you wish to modify.
What is "count"?
KasMail keeps track of the number of messages received by each of your disposable email addresses. You may view this count on the My Emails page.
What s the events log?
You events log keeps track of all the events linked to your account: creation and expiration of addresses, accepted and blocked messages, change of password.
How may I change my password?
You may use the password change form.
Is KasMail really free?
Yes. KasMail is free for individuals. Companies should contact us for more details on the terms and conditions.
Do you have a product for corporations?

Are you going to sell or share my email address?
No. KasMail is a service dedicated to protecting you from unwanted emails. Your email address will never be sold or shared with anyone. You may read our privacy policy.
I have contacted your webmaster, but haven't received a response, what should I do?
Please make sure you enter a valid email address in the contact form. We make every effort to reply within 4 days to all requests. If you do not receive a response after this time, send your request again. Many users enter their addresses incorrectly in the support form, we then have no means of contacting them.
